Services for Thomas Earl Dickerson, 49, were today at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. The Revs. Gerald Smith and David Cochran officiated. Burial was in Beech Bluff Cemetery. Mr. Dickerson, a retired firefighter for the Jackson Fire Department, died Wednesday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of a heart attack. He had been in the hospital since Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack while driving, according to authorities. Mr. Dickerson was a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
