In Bethany, CT 1860 census Hiram (age 52) is head of household, living with Eliza B. Adams (age 76), as a farm laborer.
Betsey died 15 Jan 1877. Ms. Adams has one of the largest headstones in the Carrington Cemetery. Hiram's name is on the opposite side.
