Son of Daniel and Margaret Keffer He moved here from Schuykill County about 1830. He was my great great great grandfather Obit: Muncy Luminary Aug ? 1901 Obituary: Joseph Keffer of Montgomery, died at his home there last Thursday evening of Paralysis, aged nearly 70 years. JoliAnn Strouss A widow and four children survive him. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Presbyterian church. Rev. J.W. Lake conducted the services. The deceased was a member of the Muncy Lodge, I.O.O.F. The interment was made in the Muncy cemetery.

Joseph keffer, a resident of Montgomery, died Thursday evening. He has long been a sufferer from paralysis. He was aged nearly seventy years and is survived by his widow and four children. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock ib the Presbyterian Church, to be conducted by the Rev, J W Lake. Interment will be made at Muncy. Deceased was a member of the Lutheran Church and also a member of the Muncy lodge of I O O F.
