Mrs. Frank R. (Ruth Edna Carnahan) Stahlman, 67, of Chicora RD 1 died unexpectedly Wednesday (Dec. 5, 1962) at the home of a son, Frank Stahlman Jr., Chicora RD 1. Mrs. Stahlman was a member of Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, Chicora RD 1 and a member of the Missionary Society and friendly Bible Class of that church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Ross Stahlman; three daughters, Mrs. A. E. (Betty) Stoops of West Sunbury RD 2, Alice Stahlman of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Robert (Marion) Heck of Chicora RD 1; four sons, Harry L. of Chicora, Frank Jr. of Chicora RD 1, Charles T. of East Brady RD 1, Richard R, at home; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Wesley (Marie) Wagaman of Sylvia, Kan., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today and tomorrow at Vensel funeral home, Chicora, and one hour prior to service time at 2:30 pm Saturday at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, Chicora RD 1, Rev. John M. Wingard, church pastor, will officiate. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
