Mary Lillian Cooke Haneline 92, of Kingwood, formerly of Somerville, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011.

She was born in Fort Worth, TX on January 19, 1919 to the late Porter Garland and Dollie (Hill) Chapmond. She was in the first graduating class of Paschal High School in 1936.

Mary worked at Texas Instruments for 20 years in Dallas and Houston. She was a 65-year member of Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron of the Somerville Chapter #245, O.E.S., from 1991-1993.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Cooke Darrow of Denver, Colorado and Karen Cooke Young of Kingwood; grandchildren, James Darrow and Jeff Darrow, Erica Pawlak and Ryan Pawlak; three great grandchildren and brother, Garland Ray Chapmond of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, Roland P. Cooke; her second husband, Elmer George Haneline and her parents.

Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM, Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Vitas Hospice.
