OBITUARY
Anna A. Hawkins, 95, of Detroit Michigan, formerly of Nashville, died Friday in the Lakeside Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was born November 15, 1879 in Perry County, to Pete and Margaret Lisa Christofferson Lund. On February 7, 1900, in Nashville, she married Lewis H. Hawkins, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors. Survivors include sons, Lewis of Nashville, and Leonard of Mt. Clemens Michigan; daughters Della Zapp of Nashville and Elsie Rather of Detroit, Michigan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Three daughters, five brothers, and four sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday and the Piatt funeral home in Nashville, with the Rev. Richard Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville. Friends may call after 5 PM Friday until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
