Betty Lou Bethscheider, 70, of Silverton, died Dec. 14, 2011.

She was born March 13, 1941 in Woodburn to John and Nellie Eder. She graduated from Woodburn High School in 1959.

After graduation she worked at a bank in Woodburn and for a school in Silverton.

She and Clifford Bethscheider were married on June 11, 1960 at St. Paul Catholic Church of Silverton. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary, of Joseph, and Harold, of Salem; granddaughter, Danah, of Topeka, Kan.; and sister, Lucille Cook, of Phoenix, Ariz.

A memorial service will be held Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Unger Funeral Chapel in Silverton. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mount Angel.

Also, a reception will be held at the Elk's Lodge in Silverton after interment.

Arrangements are being handled by Unger Funeral Chapel.
