He was born in Granite Falls, Minnesota, April 17, 1922. Bud came west to Monroe in 1953 and worked for his uncle Charlie Beavers in the sand, gravel and concrete business. In 1963, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Snohomish, retiring in 1980. Bud raised Black Angus cattle on his property near Monroe until it was sold in 1998. He divided his time between Monroe and Wood Lake, MN, with family and friends.
Bud is survived by brothers, Harvey (Kathy), of Granite Falls, MN, and Chester (Truly), of Wood Lake, MN; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Burial was at Doncaster Cemetery, Granite Falls, MN. In honor of his request, no services were held. Published in The Herald (Everett) from October 23 to October 24, 2008
