Early Life: Margaret was born September 30, 1916, in Provo, Utah, daughter of Nephi and Frances Vilate Johnson Anderson. Margaret spent much of her young life on the family ranch at Big Hollow near Fountain Green, Utah. The ranch always brought her pleasure.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Margaret was happy to serve a mission in California. She retired in 1981 from her position at Utah Valley Hospital, after many years of service. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed reading, walking, and dearly loved all of her family. She brought job and love into the lives of all whom she touched. She will be greatly missed by everyone, especially her sister and her two nieces, who attended her in her final days on this earth. Margaret Marie Anderson McPherson passed away Tuesday morning, November 8, 1994. She was 78.
Survived By: Her sister, Erma Carlston, of Glendale, California; her brother, David Anderson, of Redding, California; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Earl McPherson; her parents; and all but one sibling.
