Marshall was president and owner of Taylor-based Lowenstein Poultry and Game Co., a firm that was founded by his great-uncle in Detroit in 1894. When he took over the family business in 1971, he decided to focus on selling gift turkeys that companies give to employees during the holidays, and it grew by leaps and bounds. His career start the day after he graduated from Michigan State University in 1954 with a degree in food distribution. He also coached Little League and served as vice president of Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills. He was married to Phyllis, and the father of Judy, Mark, Rick and Michael. Cause of death: Heart failure.
