In 1950 Mr. Black relocated to Baldwin, FL where he met and married the late Ms. Willie Mae Shannon. From this union nine children filled the Black household.
In 1979 Mr. Black met Ms. Lula Idella Walker and they were joined in Holy Matrimony December 15, 1984 and from this union seven children completed the Black household.
He was a loyal husband and devoted father and grandfather, a respected man by his community and well known for his caring heart and generosity to anyone in need.
Mr. Black began his career with Seaboard Coastline and retired with CSX Railroad after completing forty seven years of dedicated service.
He leaves forty-two grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends to cherish his wonderful memory.
