Dr. Rex Howell, 40, 18 West 13th took his own life Friday at his home. Born Dec. 16, 1937 at Macksville, he was a dentist.
He was a member of the Eastwood Heights Church of Christ, Hutchinson; National Guard Reserve, Great Bend.
Survivors include son: Ryan Christopher of the home; parents: Mr. & Mrs. Alex Howell, Belpre; brother: Jan, Denver.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church, Macksville; the Rev. J. C. Daniels, George Shelton.
Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, Macksville. Friends may call 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday at Breitenbach Mortuary, Macksville. Family suggests memorials to the Youthville Home, Newton.
