Madge Fredrick Spurlock, 84, of Gist died Friday, May 31, 1997 at Silsbee Doctors Hospital in Silsbee. Funeral services were held Monday, June 2 at E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Morse Cemetery.
A native of Shelby County, she lived in Gist 57 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Denna Smith of Orangefield and Lois Bean of Gist; 14 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
