The Oklahoman, March 28, 1985: Hazel Park Foiles, petroleum geologist, passed away at St Anthony Hospital March 26. She was a native of Colorado, graduated from the University of Colorado, where she was voted by the faculty to honorary membership in Mortarboard and Kappa Delta Pi. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi women's sorority. She spent her entire working career in Oklahoma as a geologist employed by Cities Service Co.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma Geological Society, Am. Association of University Women, PEO, Silver Thimble, and Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home to be followed by a commital service at the Rose Hill Mausoleum.

She leaves a husband, Larry Foiles, at the home in OKC; an aunt, Leona Singer, Naples, FL; an aunt by marriage, Esther Strohm in Kansas City; and many cousins in Colorado. Instead of flowers, a contribution to her favored charities would be preferred as follows: Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers and/or Campbell Library, both addresses NE 13 and Lincoln Blvd, OKC, 73104.
