They have had born to them four sons and six daughters, of whom two sons died in infancy, many years ago. The rest of the children are with them today, except one daughter, Mrs. Laura Harper, who is at her home in Kansas and could not get here in time for the burial of her loved mother.
Mother Klingman was reared in the Methodist Sabbath school and added her name to the church membership when twenty years of age. The family moved from Cambridge, Ohio, in 1867, to Madison county, Iowa, living twenty-seven years together in this home.
