"Two young ladies, Emily & Sophia Hugill, age 18 and 12, respectively, daughters of the late Rev. Joseph Hugill, of the Methodist Communion are accidentally drowned at Brockville, Ont., while out bathing.
This information is also posted in "Ontario's Christian Guardian 1873-1880", stating Edith Sophia was age 11 y, 10 m, the youngest daughter of Rev. Joseph and Mrs. Hugill, the daughter of Mr.Vaux of Ottawa.
