Alvin Jackson Ales, 89, of Batesville, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003. at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Services were Thursday at Black Jack Presbyterian Church with interment at Black Jack Cemetery. Rev. Douglas Sullivan Gonzales and Rev. Alan Kilgore officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Ales, born Sept. 4, 1913, to the late Robert Benjamin Ales and the late Nancy Maude Murphy Ales, was a retired mechanic, a Veteran of WWII, and a member of Black Jack Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Mae Warren Ales of Batesville; one son, Keith Ales of Batesville; one daughter-in-law, Willa Odom Ales of Batesville; three grandchildren; Lacey Elizabeth Lenoir, Shannon Lynn Ales, and Gavin Thomas Ales; and two grandchildren, Meredith Ashton Arnold, and Preston Gregory Arnold.
