He was educated in the Rowan County schools and served his country during World War II with the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Mr. Dunham retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and was a member of St. John 's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue Benfield of Salisbury. Services : 3 p.m. today at Lyerly Funeral Home 's James C. Lyerly Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Carl R. Sachtleben. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation : 1:30-3 p.m. today at Lyerly Funeral Home..
