Longtime Snyder resident, Kathleen Lucille Ballard, age 59, was relieved of her suffering and went to be with our Heavenly Father Wednesday, January 4, 2012

She was born on March 4, 1952 in Edwardsburg, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dorothy Pope James and Willis Henry Pope, and by one brother-in-law, Clifford Ballard.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy Ballard of Snyder, Texas; By Two daughters; Tobi Williams of Austin, Texas and Diana Iglehart of Snyder, Texas; By one son and daughter-in-law, Will and Alisha Ballard of Austin, Texas; One brother; Bobby Pope of Dallas, Texas; Three brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law; Donald and Linda Kite of Sweetwater, Texas, Billy Don Hill of Sweetwater, Texas, Gary Hill of Lubbock,Texas, and Linda Ballard of O'Donnell, Texas; Three nieces; Heather and Hannah Kite, both of Sweetwater, Texas, and Nichole Hamilton; Four Nephews, Nathan Ballard, Chy Ballard, Aaron Hill, and Buddy Pope of Anson, Texas.

She is also survived by the little people who brought joy into her heart and unconditional love in her life, her grandchildren; Raven Ballard, Tyler Williams, Antroy Ballard, and Brantlee Ballard all of Austin, Texas, John Wistl of Ira, Texas, Kendra Iglehart, Timothy Iglehart, and Bethany Iglehart all of Snyder, Texas; Along with one Great Grandson, Jaxon Beasley of Snyder, Texas.

She had a very creative soul and she loved to express herself in words, creating jewelry, gardening, cooking, and through singing. And of course, her speciality, a good game of billiards.

Family visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wright Colonial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gail, Texas with Pastor Randy Hardman officiating, Burial will follow in the Gail Cemetery under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home.
