Joy Langham was a quiet, shy person. But when you got to know her you realized she personified her name. She took great pleasure in life and shared it liberally with her friends and patients. She died suddenly, unexpectedly and much too soon.

Her husband John wrote these words:
"Yesterday my darlin' Joy surpassed the love and happiness she shared with me. Life must not be measured in quantity, but by the intensity with which it is lived"

Joy is buried with John's parents and grandparents. John, who also left us too soon, is buried in Flint Cemetery.
