She moved with her parents to Linn County, Kansas when a small girl and her girlhood days were lived in that community.
She was united in marriage to Albert Danford Robbins, November 28, 1875 and to this union was born 13 children, five of which preceded her in death, Lena Laymon, C.L. (Clarence Leroy) Robbins, Darwin Robbins, and two in infancy.
She was converted at an early age and united with the church about 45 years ago. In 1905 she united with the Wesleyan Methodist Church of which she was a member at the time of her death. In the fall of 1893 she with her husband moved to their homestead six miles south of Ringwood, Oklahoma where they resided until 1915 when they moved to Enid, where they have made their home since.
Mrs. Robbins lives to mourn the loss of a beloved companion as does also a sister, Mrs. Lucy Groseclose of El Reno and the children, Rev. Orville E. Robbins of Green, Kansas, George Robbins of Carmen, Art and Sylvester Robbins of Enid, and Mrs. C.H. (Lucy Pearl) Algers of Bethany, Mrs. J.E. (Flossie May) Ruth, Huntington Park, California, Mrs. Arthur (Nellie Edna) Grove, South Gate, California, and Mrs. Other (Alma Easter) Hildebrand of Hunter. Twenty grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends sincerely regret the passing of a beloved friend.
Mrs. Robbins was a faithful and consistent member of the church always thinking and doing for others.
