Ruth Hall, 85, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at her residence. She was born Jan. 9, 1926, in New Haven and was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Margaret Ball; one son, Danny Hall; one daughter, Judi Bauer; one grandson, David C. Newcomb; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include five sons, John Hall of New Hope, Joe Pat Hall of Culvertown, Tim Hall of California, Tommy Hall of New Haven, and Kenny Hall of Bardstown; three daughters, Phyllis Barth and Jackie Newcomb, both of Bardstown, and Margie Westenhofer ofBirmingham,Ala.; four sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her memorial service is 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Barlow Funeral Home. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, and 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
