Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 in the Chapel of Colonial Funeral Home for Mrs. Ouida R. Bullock, 73, of Columbia, who died Sunday, Jan. 1 in Hattiesburg. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Grenn officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at the funeral home.
A native of Marion County she was retired from Piggly Wiggly and a member of Caney Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bullock and parents, Rankin and Geneva Johnson.
Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Sistrunk (Lavon) of Pine Burr, Susan Stringer (Woody) of Foxworth and Rebecca Stogner (Wayne) of Columbia; two sons, Allen Bullock of Jackson and Joe Bullock (Sandra) of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Nita Gipson (Marlin) of Columbia; one brother, J.R. "Toby" Johnson (Sheila) of Purvis; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and many other friends and family.
Colonial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
