MILITARY RITES FOR PFC. HURLEY VFW To Honor Hero Tomorrow Military- funeral services for Pfc., Frank Hurley Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Hurley, formerly of Berwyn, will be conducted at 10:30 tomorrow morning at -St. Mary- Celle; Church. Berwyn Post, VFW., V .'f Pfc. Hurley, 22, was killed in the Battle of Luzon: He died February 20, 1945, while serving with the 136th Infantry,- 33rd Division of the Army. His body was shipped home after temporary burial in a military cemetery in the Philippine Islands, and is at the Nosek; Funeral Home, 6716 W. 16th St. The Berwynite joined the Army December 26, 1942, and trained at Camp Grant, -ILL., in Arizona and in Washington. He fought in New Guinea; the Netherlands and East India, before being shipped to the Philippines. Pfc. - Hurley lived with his parents at 1447 Wesley Ave. and attended Morton High School. His parents moved to Chicago, after his death. Final burial will take place in Queen of Heaven Cemetery following the military rites. Survivors include his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Roelle and Mrs. Robert Clement.
