A requiem mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Immaculate Heart for Adam Weigant, 78 N.E, Fremont St., who died Saturday. Concluding services will be at Mt. Calvary cemetery.
Born in Russia Oct. 4, 1869. Mr. Weigant came to Portland in 1901 and spent the remainder of his life here. For 35 years he was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1938. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters; Immaculate Heart 1049. Surviving are four sons; Kasper J., John J., Charles and Adam Jr. three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Lehl, Mrs. Eva Langos and Mrs. Anna Wulzen; brother of Mrs. Monica Schmidt. All of Portland.
