Louise Lillian Heideman, daughter of Carl and Bilda Frericks Piel, was born March 25, 1917, at Blue Hill, Minnesota. She was baptized May 12, 1918, at home in Clarksville, Iowa and confirmed March 22, 1942, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg.

On April 11, 1937, Louise was united in marriage with Conrad Heideman at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Louise and her husband farmed for many years and Louise raised geese and chickens. She had also worked for a time at Meinerz Creamery in Fredericksburg.

In November of this year, Louise entered the Tripoli Nursing Home where her death occurred on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She was ninety-four years old and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tripoli.

She is survived by one son, Eldon (Fern) Heideman of New Hampton; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a step daughter, Leota Luhman of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter-in-law, Delores Heideman of Tripoli; two sisters, Betty (Jim) Minard and Opal Piel, both of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad on July 22, 1991; two daughters, Leona on October 26, 2011, and Lorraine, who died at birth; and one brother, Robert.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church in Tripoli with Rev. Miles Renaas officiating. Burial will be at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Tripoli. Friends may call for one hour before services at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be given to Louise's family.
