Samuel Kidder Jr is my 4th Great Grandfather.
Samuel was the son of Samuel Kidder Sr, February 8 1734-1778 and Sara Corbin, September 14 1740-February 16 1831. His parents wed on March 30 1758.
After Samuel's father Samuel Sr passed away in 1776 of Small Pox, his mother Sara (Corbin) Kidder married his future wife's widowed father, Jonathan Bacon III in 1785.
About two and a half years after their widowed parents married, Samuel Kidder Jr and Zilpha Bacon wed in Dudley, Worcester County, MA on September 27 1787. Zilpha (Bacon) Kidder was born February 6 1767 and died in 1853, she's interred in the Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown NY.
