CHARLES MOTLEY
Mr. Charles Eugene Motley, 73, of Hubbard died Wednesday, January 14, 2004. He was born August 27, 1930, and lived most of his life in Hubbard. He worked for 20 years in Port Isabel with Callaway Ice and Fuel as a dock foreman. He worked as a boilermaker and ironworker in construction and retired from Fluor Daniel Con-struction in 1996. He was an Air Force veteran. He was married to the former Leatrice Havis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ruth Motley; one daughter, Ocie Lee Motley; and one sister, Margie Pockrus. Survivors include: his wife; one son, Darrell Motley and wife, Judy, of Hubbard; one sister, Ruby Pricer of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Wade Funeral Home Chapel in Hubbard with Rev. Ralph Lee officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Memorials may be made to Missionary Baptist Church of Hubbard.
