Jesse J Rhodes, 86, of Pana died Saturday morning (Dec 13, 1980) in Veterans Hospital, Danville.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, with visitation after 4 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Oconee Mound Cemetery.
Mr Rhodes was born in Fayette County, son of George and Ethelline Rhodes. He was a retired farmer, a member of Pana American Legion Post and a World War II veteran. He married Fay F Rhodes in 1920.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs Leo (Donna) Delano of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
