Letter written to Cathy Morgan from Ada Coley, daughter of Barsha:

"Barsha Ellen Crenshaw was born in Kerr Co, Texas. She was 80 years of age when she passed away in a hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. She spent most of her early years in Ingram, Tex. Until she met and married James Markley McWhorter, and they moved to Ellis Co, TX near Waxahachie. She and her husband farmed until his death in 1942, she then moved into town and worked several years. She then moved to Midlothian near her youngest daughter where she lived until she suffered a stroke at the age of 73 years. She never regained the use of her right side, but ever lost her sense of humor and sweet personality. She never had a lot of worldly goods, but laid up treasures for her Heavenly Home. She died 5 July 1963 and is buried in the Sardis Cemetery near Waxahachie, Texas."
