Mrs. George Sloan of South Park visited relatives and friends in town the latter part of last week. She was accompanied home on Monday by Mr. and Mrs. J. Sloan, who returned home Tuesday morning. The friends of George Sloan will regret to learn of his death, which occurred quite suddenly Monday night at his home in South Park. Mr. Sloan was suffering from a severe attack of asthma which resulted in heart failure. The remains were brought to this place for burial Friday morning. The services were held in the Methodist church shortly after 10 o'clock. Mr. Sloan was for many years a resident
