Victor J Fink, 75, Ely, died Saturday, November 16, 1996, in Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital.

He was born January 19, 1921, in Ely to Louis and Anna (Jerman) Fink.

He attended Ely schools and was an Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1943 to 1946 in the South Pacific. On June 30, 1956, he married Donna Eiden in Melrose, MN. For 30 years he worked as a miner at Reserve Mining Co. in Babbitt. He was a member of the American Legion Post 248 in Ely, VFW Post 1539 in Babbitt, Disabled American Veterans and the NRA.

His son, Danny; a brother, Fred; and a sister, Ann Clarkson preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; four daughters, Ruth (Frank) Leoni, Patricia Preblich, Jean (Robert) Magistad , and Cheryl (Wayne) Springer; two sons, David (Audra), and Mark; a brother, Louis (Julia) Fink; six sisters, Marion Fink, Rose O'Rourke, Amelia Skubitz, Betty (William) Patton, Dorothy (William) Gerhart, and Molly (Stafford) Korpi of Soudan; and 11 grandchildren.
