The Holmans have said that a young son and daughter of George R. and Mary L. Holman are buried in unmarked graves within the family cemetery as well. The young son is most certainly George Randolph Holman, Jr. He died of a "coughing disease", which was most likely tuberculosis or whooping cough. The Holmans had two daughters that died young: Margaret Jane and Laura Ella. At least one of them is buried in the Holman Family Cemetery, but I do not know which. The one that has been referred to as being buried there died after falling off a horse.

The Holman Family Homeplace and Cemetery still remain on Knox Daniel Road today. The house is still in the family and the cemetery is well maintained.
