Mae Ferguson, 67, widow of Singleton Ferguson, died Tuesday of a heart ailment in a Provo hospital. She was born Jan. 9, 1878, at Tooele, a daughter of Joseph M. and Clara M. Carter Bate and had made her home in Springville most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Florence Daley and J. M. Ferguson, Santa Ana, Cal., B. B. Ferguson, North Hollywood, Cal.; her mother, Mrs. Clara M. Bate, Springville; five brothers and sisters, J. M. Bate and Mrs. Harry Pennington, Springville; Ralph Bate, Spanish Fork; Leslie Bate, Burley, Ida; Mrs. Harry Piper, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Springville First LDS ward chapel.
