Charles Vetterkind, 72, of route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 9:40 a.m. Monday of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home. The Rev. LeRoy Urman will officiated, and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Vetterkind was born August 26, 1896 in the town of Hixon (Clark Co.). He was married in Merrill in 1919 to Elsie Mengel, who preceded him in death December 15, 1952. He lived on a farm in the town of Hixon his entire life.
Survivors include a son Harold of Withee; a grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Page, South Milwaukee, Mrs. Carl Miller, Withee, and Mrs. William Mattson, Owen.
