Hilda Rebecca Thompson Baird, 94, died Monday, January 2, 2012, at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston.
She was Born October 10, 1917, to Robert L. Thompson and Ellie Coila Wilson Thompson.
She was Member of the First United Methodist Church in Houston.
Services will be at 3:00 Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Houston with Rev. Larry Patrick officiating.
Burial will be in Houston Cemetery.
The Body will Lie In State from 12:00 until Service time.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Baird and Wife, Bonnie; and Douglas Baird and Wife, Reita; both of Houston; two Daughters, Rebecca Webster and Husband, Harold, of Houston; and Barbara Baird McCluskey of Eupora; a Daughter In Law, Becky Dallas and Husband, Gene, of Houston; 12 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter; two Brothers, Jack Thompson and Wife, Evelyn,of Cedar Bluff; and Fred Thompson and Wife, Sara, of Houston; two Sisters, Ruby Brandon and Husband, Joe, of Woodland; and Elizabeth Gann of Houston.
Preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband, Evan Eugene Baird; one Son, Jerry Baird; and one Brother, Robert Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Rob Baird, Charles McClellan, Brad Baird, Mark Stewart, Mike Kilgore and Wayne Baird.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center fund.
