John H Culp, 70, died at his home in Nappanee, Friday at 2:30 pm, after being ill 2 weeks with heart disease. Born April 25, 1874, at South West, the son of Henry B and Madgelena Overholt Culp, he married Nora Weiss April 11, 1900, in Nappanee. He had worked in Nappanee as a paper-hanger and painter for 40 years. He is survived by his widow; and 2 brothers, Enos Culp of Indianapolis, and Frank Culp, of Goshen route 8. Funeral services were held at the First Evangelical Church, Nappanee, and Monday at 2:00 The Rev. J. Milton Bowman, pastor of the First Brethren church, conducted the service. Burial in Bremen Cemetery.
