Resident of Menlo Park
Kenneth Anderson, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Menlo Park with his family at his side and his puppy on his lap.
He was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho and graduated from Creighton University Dental School. He set up practice in Sunnyvale, Ca where he worked for many years.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and volunteered for 'Project Concern' during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1984 to enjoy travel, golf and his friends at Sharon Heights Country Club. Ken enjoyed walking his puppy, Tori, and meeting new people. He was a man who never met a stranger.
He was kind and gracious, with a great sense of humor, which made him a mentor to many who loved him.
Ken is survived by his wife Jeanne, seven children, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends he considered his family.
There will be a memorial service at St. Denis Catholic Church in Menlo Park on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception at Sharon Heights Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations made to the Leukemia Society, Vitas Hospice, or the charity of your choice.
