Marion S. Mallory
Marion S. Mallory, 79, who had recently moved from Fairland to Dagley Court, died this morning at 5:15 in W S Major Hospital.
Born June 23, 1905 in Ripley County, she was the daughter of Harvey Wray and Viola (Brown) Orem. She was married in 1921 in Fairland to William Floyd Mallory, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mallory was a member of the Fairland United Methodist Church and had lived in Shelby County since 1921. She retired in 1967 from Naval Avionics in Indianapolis.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice M. Bell, Elkhart,and Mrs. Williams (Betty M.) Williams, RR 1, Shelbyville; a brother Wray Orem, Shelbyville; a sister, Hetty Tucker, Shelbyville; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One sister and one grandson preceded Mrs. Mallory in death.
Services will be Saturday 1:30 in the Ewing Mortuary, with the Rev. Jon Akers officiating. Burial will be in the Fairland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 4 to 6 pm.
