DOROTHY MAUD MOLLEY, 86, woke in the presence of the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. She lived in Friendswood, Texas for 13 years, and then moved to Alvin in 1971. She taught 4th grade at Alvin Elementary for 18 years. Her favorite things were sewing and reading. Dorothy enjoyed working in her yard. She was a regular member of South Park Baptist Church and was very active in Sunday school.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; Eugene and Maud Bissett; a brother, David Bissett; and husband of 48 years, William Thomas Molley.

She is survived by three daughters, Eileen Kahn and husband Bobby, Ann Jackson and husband Bruce, and Kathy Browder and husband Ted. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; sister, Velma Rivers; brother, Eldon Bissett; sister-in-law, Mary Bissett; and 3 nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at South Park Baptist Church, 1718 S. Johnson Street, Alvin, Texas 77511 with Rev. Howard Daniel officiating.

Burial will follow Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Mission Burial Park South Cemetery, 1700 S.E. Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78214.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to M.D. Anderson, The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O.
