Mrs. Jesse Bird, 91, of 6807 Fir, Ave., Cleveland, died Friday in Bay View Hospital after a brife illness.
Mrs. Bird a Cleveland resident most of her life, was born in Heaters, W. Va., Jan. 23, 1886.
She was a former caretaker of the Madison Avenue Medical Building in Lakewood.
Surviving are sons, Harold, Avon, Walter G., North Olmsted, and Carl of Kenton, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Doris Haught, Cleveland, and Mrs. Danie (Garnett) Springate, Lakewood; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Her husband Jesse, and a daughter Mrs. Eva Minar, preceded her in death.
Services were conducted in the Bogner Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, today at 1 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Jones, Bethany Presbyterian Church, Cleveland, officiated and burial was in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
