Frank was the first child of Matteo and Josephine and was born in Gesso, Sicily. He came to the US with his mother July 12, 1890. Music was important to the family. When Frank was old enough, he was sent to Philadelphia for music lessons on the violin and in turn taught his brothers Domenic and Joseph to play. A dance hall was built at the homestead as a way to earn a living. In 1916 it burnt down and in its place a music store was built in 1922. Here he sold sheet music and taught music lessons. Frank was a musician and songwriter and had his own band. Our family has his sheet music that was published. Frank never married. Frank worked along with his sister Kathryn and brother Joe at the Bellevue Diner. Frank was the second to be buried in the Romeo plot.
