John D. Britton

John D. Britton, 74, died Dec. 27, 2002, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was a welder and pipefitter, and was a member of the Marietta Bible Center.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Kim Metts and Charrise Armistead; one son, Mark Britton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Elizabeth Hawkins and Bertha Beck.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Marietta Bible Center. Interment in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation begins today at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta.
