Ben G. Louret, 78, of Plymouth, died at the Plymouth Extended Care Facility this morning after having been a patient there for the past week.

He was born Aug 27, 1895, in the Town of Holland, a son of the late John and Catherine Garside Louret. He attended the district school and was graduated from the Waldo High School.

On June 14, 1923, he married Agnes Halstead in Chilton.

They lived in Plymouth and Dallas, Texas after their marriage and Mr. Louret worked in both cities for Borden's Food Co. until retiring in 1960 and returning to Plymouth. Mrs. Louret died April 18, 1962.

Mr. Louret was a member of the Borden's Quarter Century Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Virginia) Versch, of Plymouth, and Mrs. William (Bernice) Dusek, of Redondo Beach, Calif,; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Harmon, of Plymouth, and two sisters, Miss Mabel Louret of Chicago and Mrs. Anna Madden, of Janesville.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Wittkopp Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell Ferguson, pastor of Salem United Church of Christ, Plymouth, officiating. Burial will be in the Hingham Cemetery.
