Allen F. Dover, 87 of Independence, passed away August 3, 2006. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, from 68pm at the Floral Hills Chapel, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, with services being held on Monday the 7th at 2pm. Burial with graveside military honors follows the service. Mr. Dover served in the Navy during WWII, and then married Anna (Spahr) on February 23, 1947. They worked in the area before retiring to Ocala Florida, where they lived for 19 years. While in Florida, they were active members of the Beleview Methodist Church. They then returned to the Kansas City area.
Mr.Dover is survived by his wife, Anna of the home, son Victor Dover, and daughter Annette Ramsey, 5 grandchildren, Dianna Geist, Curtis Keele, Sean Dover, Melinda Dover, and Adam Dover, and 5 Great grandchildren. His parents, Richard and Elizabeth Dover, and a sister, Geraldine Schneider, precede Mr. Dover in death. Arr: D.W. Newcomer's Sons, 816-3531218
