Funeral Services for Isaac M. Hook, 73, of Bowman's Addition, Cumberland, Md, who died at his home after a brief illness, were conducted Saturday at 2 pm in Fairview Christian church. The Rev Walter Twigg officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. A native of Artemas, Pa, Mr Hook had made his home in Cumberland the past 23 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Georgia (Hymes) Hook; three daughters, Mrs William Brown and Mrs Gilbert Nies, both of Bowman's Addition, and Mrs William Burkey of Cumberland; six sons, James and Lawrence Hook, of Bowman's Additon; Louis and Phillip of Cumberland and Herman and Espy Hook at home; two brothers, Ephraim Hook of Chaneysville, PA and Edward Hook of Rainsburg; two sisters Mrs Emma Potts and Mrs Rose Turner both of Rainsburg; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
