MOUNT JEWETT - Leona M. Roberts, 88, of 3 McClelland Ave., Mount Jewett, passed away Wednesday (July 10, 2013) at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born June 1, 1925, in Duke Center, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sylvia Cornelius Buck.
Mrs. Roberts had been employed at Stackpole and had also worked at Sena-Kean Manor. She attended the United Methodist Church in Mount Jewett.
Surviving are two daughters, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were three brothers, Francis Buck, Gerald Buck and Donald Buck; four sisters, Marjorie Babcock, Dorothy Adair, Donna Austin and Helen Buck; a grandson, John Morris; and a great-grandson, Mark Hanson Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cummings Funeral Home Inc., Mount Jewett, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Bridgeview Cemetery.
