Provo--Clara Reynolds Kofford, 77, widow of Erastus E. Kofford, died Tuesday morning at the family home, 350 East Second North street, following a long illness. She was born March 2, 1865, a daughter of William F. and Anna Kerstine Peterson Reynolds. She received her education in Mt. Pleasant and was married to Mr. Kofford on September 6, 1883, in the old LDS Endowment house in Salt Lake City. She came to Provo bench with her husband in 1901 and they later moved to Provo. Mr. Kofford died in 1934.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Elva K. Hass of Waukegan, Illinois; one grandson, and the following brothers and sisters: Asa F.Reynolds, Levi H. Reynolds, and Mrs. Eleanor Johnson of Provo; Mrs. Rozella Warnick, Mrs. Maud Christensen, Mrs. Florence Crowther, Burt Reynolds and Byron Reynolds of Sanford, Colorado and Jesse Reynolds of Hansen, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Provo Fifth LDS ward chapel, with Frank T. Bennett, bishop, in charge. Burial will be in Provo city burial park. Friends may call at the Berg mortuary Friday and at the family home prior to the services.
