Mrs. Laura Johnson, age 72, widow of the late Thomas Johnson of near Rising Sun, died at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Ella) Preston, in Perryville, Maryland on Wednesday, February 5.
Her furneral services took place at Freemont, Pennsylvania on Saturday, with Rev. A. B. Fry, officiating. Three step-sons also survive; Charles of Philadelphia; Earl of Chester; Leroy of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania.
