Katryn loved music, reading and having fun with her friends. The most important thing in her life was her baby girl, Kelsey.
Surviviors include one daughter Kelsey Yvette Gibbs, her parents, Fagin Gibbs of Nashville, Tenn., and Brenda Monroe Gibbs, of Ripley, Miss.: two sisters, Carmen (Dary) Barnes and Caroline Gibbs, both of Ripley, Miss.; one brother, Kevin Gibbs, of Davenport; and a host of relatives and friends.
Kathryn's body was shipped to Mississippi after her funeral here, and no announcement of where her burial would be was reported here. So if anyone knows, send me a message to add it.
Kathy was a friend and co-worker with my daughter and I had the honor of meeting her a few times, and in meeting her just a few times I knew that she was quite a beautiful and remarkable woman. I was extremely surprised and saddened to learn of her death. I know she will be extremely missed by all who knew her.
